About: The Border Communications Center provides emergency support services for San Diego County and parts of Riverside County. They work alongside Cal-Trans in reducing traffic congestion and providing motorists with emergencies. The Center receives emergency 911 calls and 24-hour non-emergency calls. They then dispatch first-responders to incidents. The Center received 571,617 calls, with approximately 482,797 of those calls being emergencies, in 2015. This Center is not open to the public.
