They are responsible for terrain that varies from 235 feet below sea level at the Salton Sea to 4,548 feet above sea level at Blue Angel Peak. The area the office serves is mostly farmland with recreational areas including Laguna Mountains, Salton Sea and Glamis Dunes. The El Centro Dispatch Center (ECDC) is located out of the El Centro Office. This office provides assistance to the CHP Border Division Mexico Liaison Unit Officers dealing with the border of Mexico.
