General Information

About: The Orange Police Department serves a community with the population of approximately 139,000 residents. The jurisdiction covers nearly 27 square miles and is bordered by Santa Ana, Garden Grove, Anaheim and Santiago Canyon. The Orange PD's mission is to perform our law enforcement duties with innovative leadership, accountable to the people we serve, in order to ensure their safety and improve the quality of life in our diverse community. There are several specialized units within the Department such as Bike Team, Canine Unit, Homeless Engagement Assistance and Resource Team (HEART), SWAT Team and Traffic Bureau.
